Our client, a leading medical imaging biotech company is looking for a first in country Sales Manage/ Account sales manager to shape the UK business. If have experience and passion for precision medicine, a strong knowledge in AI or Medical Imaging and want to be at the forefront of entering a new territory, this is the role for you!
As Business Development Manager, you will:
Lead and execute a successful sales strategy for significant revenue growth and UK market expansion, working closely with the EU Business Development Director to drive commercial objectives.
Lead the business development activities for new imaging AI technologies with senior physicians at innovative hospitals and imaging centres in the UK.
Serve as the first point of contact with new potential clients for novel imaging products and services.
Partner with the marketing team to build regional KOL advocacy, and provide product feedback & competitive insights from the Market,
Identify local channel partners and team up with the channel & partner manager to setup local partnership agreements,
Attending medical conferences in the UK and abroad, conducting new customer outreach to prominent radiologists and clinicians.
To be considered for the role of Business Development Manager, you will have:
Proven sales success in closing high-value contracts in the medical field is essential
Previous experience as a First in Country/ first in territory sales account represented, shaping the company enter to the market
Minimum of 7 years of experience of commercial / solution sales experience to the medical field, with significant achievements and a relevant network in the UK.
Experience in working with NHS stakeholders, particularly in the context of new technologies or capital equipment
Knowledge of radiology and medical imaging market – Ideal candidates will have knowledge around Artificial intelligence
Working knowledge and experience of NHS tender systems and procurement channel
Excellent communication skills, including strengths in running effective sales, business, and internal meetings, preparing and delivering professional pitches, and complex negotiations.
Proficiency in knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM.
Availability to attend conferences and meetings in the UK and abroad, regularly.
Integrity and passion for precision medicine. Fascination for innovative research and AI, the future of clinical research and medicine.
This is a permanent role, covering the UK market. Candidates ideally based in London or Cambridge but not essential.
Have full right to work in the UK and be fully mobile to travel.
