We are seeking a strategic and experiencedDirector of Business Continuityto lead the design, execution, and maintenance of our global Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program. This role is critical in ensuring our organization is prepared for and resilient to disruptions, safeguarding our operations, clients, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, including the Manager of Employee Health & Safety.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture across departments and business units.

Policy & Program Development

  • Design and implement corporate-wide business continuity policies and procedures.
  • Drive process improvements and align BCM with industry best practices.
  • Develop training programs and tools for global teams.

Business Continuity Expertise

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant on business continuity.
  • Oversee testing and execution of incident management and continuity plans.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulations and standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal business heads, support groups, and external partners.
  • Represent the company in audits and client meetings.
  • Identify and allocate resources for global continuity planning.
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure alignment with budget and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 12–15 years of professional experience, including 7+ years in business continuity/disaster recovery.
  • Experience in the clinical research, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, biological sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Business Continuity certification (e.g., MBCI or equivalent) required.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IT architecture and business continuity best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver training globally.
  • Culturally aware and globally minded.
