Brand Manager required for a fast paced and highly ambitious consumer healthcare organisation.


Here at Alliance, we are going through an exciting period of global advancement, and we need a self-motivated and accountable Brand Manager to drive growth and success of our skincare product Hydromol across the UK and Ireland.


As the Brand Manager based in Chippenham, Wiltshire (2 days a week) you will be an integral part of the EMEA Commercial team


If you have worked in Consumer Healthcare, and ideally in Skincare in a Brand management role, we are looking for evidence where you have

  • Developed an overall strategy and execution of a single brand
  • Built and maintained the identify of a single brand
  • Ensured consistent growth across all marketing channels
  • Directly and indirectly instigated promotional activities
  • Supported the development of new Products
  • Building brands and developing business
  • Omnichannel customer engagement
  • Market vigilance

If you have a degree in marketing or business that is a plus, experience in the above areas is key.

It goes without saying (writing) that communication, project management and people skills will also be highly regarded for this role


As the Brand Manager for Hydromol, the core responsibilities revolve around marketing and strategy:


  • Develop and maintain a brand marketing strategy for "Hydromol" by analyzing data from various sources and translating insights into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with creative and sales agencies to create campaigns across different touchpoints such as ATL (consumer & HCP promotion) and BTL (retailer and trade promotion), ensuring the execution aligns with the brand plan.
  • Engage with the Field Sales team to design and implement an effective HCP Activation strategy, including targeting key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Provide guidance on pricing strategies and promotions to enhance the value of "Hydromol" through detailed financial analysis (ROI, price sensitivity, break-even analysis).
  • Stay updated on market trends, conduct market data analysis, and gather competitor intelligence to make informed decisions.
  • Oversee market research initiatives, identify insights, and propose strategies to improve business performance.
  • Identify and oversee New Product Development (NPD) projects, as well as support relevant corporate development endeavors.
  • Foster operational relationships internally to ensure project success, offering support to the broader consumer team when needed.
  • Represent the brand in external stakeholder meetings, including interactions with potential customers, distributors, and agencies/partners.
  • Uphold compliance with legal and regulatory standards (ASA, PAGB, APBI, etc.) and internal SOPs, recognizing their significance in the brand's operations.
