Salary range: Up to £50,000 per annum DOE

Sonic Healthcare UK encompasses the two main entities in the UK, The Doctors Laboratory (TDL) and Health Services Laboratories (HSL). HSL was formed to provide pathology services to the NHS Trusts and has expanded further to provide services to other NHS Trusts. Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)   

 

 

There is an exciting opportunity within Health Services Laboratories located at the Whittington Hospital, for a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry. The newly formed Essential Services Laboratory (ESL) at the Whittington hospital is undertaking significant upgrades to the facilities and equipment and is a fantastic opportunity for a BMS to be involved in in the transfer of service from the current lab to the new ESL.

 

If you would like to be involved in shaping the future of the pathology services at HSL and are HCPC Registered with an accredited Biomedical Science Degree and post registration experience, you are invited to apply. Experience of working in a biochemistry laboratory is essential. You will be part of a team responsible for the day to day running of the routine Biochemistry section and have the opportunity to play an integral part in introducing new methodologies and technologies and providing a service of the highest standard to our service users.

Participation in the departmental out of hours rotas will be expected.
