We're looking for a dedicated and experiencedBiomedical Engineerto join our technical services team, working in partnership withMTSto deliver essential medical device support to healthcare providers.

As aBiomedical Engineer, you'll provide planned and corrective maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment, ensuring safe, compliant, and fully operational devices for frontline healthcare teams. You'll collaborate closely with your Team Leader and the wider technical services function to exceed performance standards and build strong customer relationships.

To be successful in this role you must be a driver with a license for over 2 years as you will be out and about across the Essex region.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on various biomedical devices
  • Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and health & safety policies at all times
  • Accurately update all service records in line with MTS's Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Support and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Manage your schedule effectively while maintaining tools, stock, and spare parts inventory
  • Review service methods to support continuous improvement and innovation
  • Uphold Sodexo's values by delivering exceptional technical service with a customer-first mindset

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a UK biomedical engineering role
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, maintenance schedules, and service documentation
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A proactive approach to quality and safety standards
  • Experience with customer relationship management and supplier liaison
