We are recruiting for a Biomedical Engineer to join a Medical Device company in Manchester. This is an important and varied role within the company. It includes supporting the company's customers and their field team in ensuring effective training and knowledge transfer, timely and efficient resolution of technical queries, trouble shooting of field based product issues, feedback and support of the Quality and Operations business units through inspections, investigations and engineering change, and development of technical and training support assets. The role will also involve input to ongoing R&D projects and support of design for manufacture programs.

Skills & Experience

Experience working within a medical device company in a technical support or R&D capacity
Degree in biomedical engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant technical or customer-facing role
Working knowledge of ISO13485 standards and compliance in regulated environments
Proven success in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
Hands-on experience with product inspection and release
Familiarity with managing customer complaints and root cause analysis
Experience designing and delivering internal and external technical trainingPersonal Attributes

Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
Are a natural problem solver with a methodical and customer-centric approach
Work proactively and thrive in cross-functional environments
Balance attention to detail with a hands-on, can-do attitude
Are comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting
