The Role
The Biology Teacher will:

  • Deliver high-quality, captivating lessons across Key Stages 3-5, nurturing a profound understanding of biological principles.
  • Employ creative and hands-on teaching methods, including intricate dissections, ecological surveys, and interactive genetic projects.
  • Empower students to conduct scientific investigations, analyse biological data, and articulate complex biological concepts with clarity.
  • Actively contribute to the wider school community through biodiversity clubs, environmental conservation projects, and academic competitions.
    The Ideal Candidate
    We are seeking a qualified Biology Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:
  • Possesses an unyielding passion for biological sciences, the natural world, and innovative teaching.
  • Is skilled in devising creative and experiential learning approaches that deeply engage students.
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to adapt lessons to both support and intellectually stretch learners across the full spectrum of abilities.
  • Works seamlessly as part of a collaborative team and is keen to lead school-wide scientific and environmental initiatives.
