Bid Coordinator - Competitive Salary (DOE) – Fantastic Benefit Package, Office Based

A new opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to work with a successful global leader in engineering solutions that have operated for over 100 years. A highly respected business who specialises in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) services, offering comprehensive solutions from design and project management to electrical, mechanical, and technology services.

Their in-house team ensures consistency and reliability, operating across various sectors and projects such as Power and Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Nuclear, Industrial, Food and Beverages, Transportation, and Water. A company that are proud to be known as a trusted partner for numerous blue-chip companies, for some of the biggest and most well know businesses that you would have definitely heard of before.

The role is based at their modern, well kitted office in Warrington which is known as a great place to work. A fantastic opportunity to work for one of the best and most respected design and build businesses in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating bids from initial expression of interest right through to final submission – and everything in between.

  • Ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met, with nothing slipping through the cracks.

  • Creating and managing bid documentation, templates, and databases using tools like SharePoint and Microsoft 365.

  • Working closely with departments across the business – estimating, procurement, engineering, and more – to gather the right content and pricing.

  • Maintaining and updating bid libraries, supplier databases, and proposal trackers.

  • Liaising directly with clients, third-party suppliers, and internal teams to keep everyone informed and aligned.

    Essential Skills

  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills.

  • Excellent written English, grammar, and proofreading ability.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and document formatting.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
