Associate & VP - Leading investment and advisory firm Healthcare, Life Sciences & Pharma

Our client, a leading investment and transaction advisory firm specializing in the Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Pharmaceuticals industries, is looking for an Associate & VP to join their expanding team. You will be working with a strategic industry-leading team, guiding clients through complex transactions within the healthcare sector (covering multiple verticals).

Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management:Oversee the full deal cycle—from initial client pitch to closing. This includes financial modeling, valuations, and coordinating due diligence activities.
  • Client Engagement:Prepare and present pitch materials, proposals, and other client-facing documents while maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Industry Research:Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory shifts, particularly in Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Pharma.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:Work closely with internal teams (legal, compliance, operations) and external stakeholders (accountants, lawyers, consultants) to ensure transactions run smoothly.
  • Team Leadership:Mentor and guide junior team members, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Regulatory & Compliance:Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices, ensuring all transactions comply with legal and ethical standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5-9+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate development with a strong emphasis on M&A transactions ideally within the Healthcare / Life Sciences sector.
  • Strong knowledge of M&A processes, valuation, and financial modeling.
  • Experience or a keen interest in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field. CFA or CA qualification is a plus.
