Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank’s gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING’s clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.

Main Duties And Responsibilities Of Role

  • Servicing the needs of FM clients in local currency Rates and FX products.
  • Covering a variety of financial institution clients (e.g., Hedge Funds, Real Money, Sovereign wealth funds).
  • Developing close working relationships with relationship management teams, trading, DCM, and research.
  • Providing relationship management activities, including cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maximizing the sale of ING Financial Markets product range to clients.
  • Ensuring 100% observance of FCA requirements, industry conduct rules, and ING Compliance standards.
  • Assisting with various ad hoc desk tasks in line with ING Strategic Initiatives and one-off projects.

Candidate Profile

Qualification/Education

Essential: Degree Holder

Desirable: CFA Charter Holder

Experience/Knowledge

Essential:

  • Deep knowledge of local fixed Income products, clients, regulations and business strategy
  • 4 years + experience, the role available at Associate, VP or Director level

Desirable

  • Deep knowledge of hard currency fixed Income products, clients, regulations and business strategy
  • Language skills in ING CEE local markets
