Proclinical is seeking a dynamic professional to join as an Associate Director of Medical Excellence & Engagement for international markets in the oncology and hematology space. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies that empower medical teams globally, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to engage effectively and compliantly. The position emphasizes collaboration across global and regional teams to drive impactful medical engagement and optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to global medical strategic planning by providing insights and representing field medical teams.
  • Facilitate the implementation of medical strategies and initiatives for hematology-cell therapy, with potential expansion to solid tumor oncology.
  • Partner with global medical teams to align scientific narratives and ensure effective communication of key data.
  • Optimize medical insights collection, analysis, and reporting through high-functioning global review teams.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and standardize deliverables and processes across therapeutic areas.
  • Develop and execute therapeutic area strategies, including franchise resources, study support, and training for new data disclosures.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment in field medical plans and external engagement strategies.
  • Lead congress support activities, including session coverage and medical booth coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, GCP, ICH, and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate the value of medical field-facing roles and facilitate best practice sharing across teams and markets.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Background in medical or scientific disciplines.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with knowledge in hematology-oncology preferred.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills within a matrixed, multicultural organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize data and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in English with advanced presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and innovate effectively.
  • Understanding of the medical landscape and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies for large-scale medical communication and training.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
