As A ssociate D irector /D irector , Launch Operations for Full-Service Commercial , you will serve to help our clients prepar e for and execute on product launches—one of the most exhilarating and critical phases in a product’s lifecycle. In this role, you will support the development, management, and execution of comprehensive launch readiness plans across therapeutic areas and geographies. Your responsibilities will span strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, risk identification and mitigation, and client communications, with the ultimate goal of ensuring successful, on-time, and high-impact launches.

This role requires pharmaceutical industry knowledge, strong project management capabilities, and growing leadership acumen. You will work closely with a Full-Service Commercial Core Team of functional subject matter experts and PMO staff to guide clients through launch planning, anticipate and mitigate risks, and provide analytical insights to support go-to-market strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product launch, with a proven track record of successfully leading and executing launch plans for innovative products. This role requires a critical and strategic thinker who can collaborate across various departments to ensure the successful launch and commercialization of our biopharmaceutical clients’ products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In partnership with functional subject matter experts (the Core Team) , define the roadmap to commercialization and implement into project management software .

Develop a risk identification and mitigation protocol and actively track .

Develop a framework for Go/No-Go decision making across multiple launch scenarios .

Track activities across large matrix teams including Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, Marketing, and Sales.

Develop Commercial launch KPIs and track Brand Performance across Sales, Marketing, and Market Access .

Partners with Core Team across all functional areas to ensure strategic alignment and launch readiness .

Demonstrate fluency in data analytics, including the ability to synthesize large and complex data sets to generate actionable business insights that support launch strategy and decision-making.

Support the evaluation, selection , and implementation of emerging technologies (e.g., data platforms, launch dashboards, AI-driven forecasting tools) that enhance launch readiness and tracking.

Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate technical capabilities into business value, bridging the gap between data science and strategic execution.

Create client - and internal leadership -ready PowerPoint deliverables and reports that communicate complex information in a concise and visual manner.

Actively mentors junior staff in leadership skills, client management skills, project management skills, and project-specific tasks.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Requires a BA/BS in the life sciences and/or business ( MS or MBA preferred

Extensive commercial experience in one or more of the following functions within the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences consulting industries: marketing, product launches, strategy, commercial operations, or related function.

Ability to define and operationalize commercial launch strategy.

Prior , extensive cross-functional project management experience is required . Ability to synthesize data, deliver key messages, and recommend action plans .

Strong cross-functional collaboration, decision-making, and conflict management skills with demonstrated proficiency .

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong formal presentation skills.

Moderate-to-advanced p roficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and advanced-to-expert knowledge of project management tools (such as SmartSheets , Project, Monday, etc.) .

Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, ambiguity, and evolving demands.

Ability to travel as necessary (up to 50 %) .
