A well-established and rapidly growing drug discovery organisation is seeking an accomplished and visionary Associate Director to lead a dynamic Cellular Pharmacology team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing novel therapeutics across a diverse pipeline of disease areas, working in a collaborative, science-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide scientific leadership and strategic direction for cellular assay development and phenotypic screening.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver preclinical drug discovery campaigns to key milestones.
Oversee assay design, development, validation, and implementation in high-throughput formats.
Guide and mentor a talented team of scientists while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Act as a scientific representative in client meetings, contributing to program design and reporting.

Requirements:
PhD (or equivalent experience) in pharmacology, cell biology, or related field.
Proven track record in leading drug discovery projects within biotech, pharma, or CRO settings.
Deep understanding of cellular pharmacology techniques, including target engagement, pathway analysis, and phenotypic screening.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
