Role: Associate Director, Clinical Development

Planet Pharmais partnering with a rapidly expanding biotechnology company seeking anAssociate Director, Clinical Developmentto join their team on an initial12–18 month fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

In this position, you will play a key role in shaping the clinical development strategy and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support the advancement of novel therapies aimed at transforming the treatment of autoimmune diseases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing scientific expertise and input into clinical development plans
  • Leading the creation of clinical trial synopses, including defining study objectives, design, and endpoints
  • Driving the development and execution of biomarker strategies to support exploratory endpoints in early clinical development
  • Contributing to the preparation and review of regulatory submission documents

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background inimmunologywho are eager to make a meaningful impact in a growing biotech environment focused on innovative autoimmune disease treatments.

The role offershybrid working, with1–2 days per week onsite in Oxford.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in clinical development, particularly withinimmunology or autoimmune diseases, and should possess:

  • A PhD or MD
  • Proven experience in clinical trial design and management, including protocol development
  • In-depth knowledge of immunology
  • A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and direct experience engaging with regulatory agencies
