Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier in Scotland.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, valves, pipework and other related products / systems.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical engineering products such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, valves, pipework.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, valves, pipework and other related products / systems.
Maintaining pump product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution / application support for all customer needs / requirements.
Provide after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required to customers within a variety of industries such as energy from waste, chemical, water, pharmaceutical, steel and more
Work remotely / field-based covering North Scotland with regular visits to customer sites.
Liaise with various engineering departments. 
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
Experience selling or managing key accounts for mechanical engineering related equipment such as such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, valves, pipework and or similar products / systems is highly desirable, however having sold similar mechanical products into related industries is also of interest.
Full clean driving license.
Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North of Scotland
