Senior Manager/Associate Director/ Director, CMCBusiness Development Location: UK-Europe (Remote) Pharmaron is insearch of an experienced Senior Manager/ Associate Director /Director in CMC Business Development, who is adept at navigatingAPI development from early to clinical development andmanufacturing. This strategic role is tailored for a leader eagerto harness Pharmarons substantial investments in state-of-the-artfacilities across the UK, US, and China to expand our footprintacross Europe. Key Responsibilities: * Strategize and implementcomprehensive business plans for CMC services, ensuring integrationof Pharmarons extensive capabilities and large capacity. *Accountable for European small molecule CMC Business Objectives andSales Goals. * Develop and sustain large client portfolios,applying industry expertise to meet diverse needs and exceedfinancial objectives. * Collaborate with regional BusinessDevelopment teams, ensuring cohesion and successful achievement ofsales targets. * Employ superior persuasion and negotiation skillsto acquire new clients and maintain enduring relationships. * Leadthe CMC strategic initiatives, adapting strategies to respond tomarket trends and competitive landscapes. * Act as a high-levelrepresentative for Pharmaron at industry events, promoting theorganizations investments and cutting-edge capabilities.Requirements: * In-depth experience in CMC, especially with APIprojects from candidate selection through clinical developmentstages. * Demonstrated proficiency in managing significant budgetsand client portfolios within a global corporate framework. * Provenleadership in developing and executing business strategies withincomplex, matrixed environments. * Exceptional communication skills,capable of influencing decisions and fostering strong client andstakeholder relationships. * Preparedness for extensive travelacross Europe as required for client engagement and strategyexecution. * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, PharmaceuticalScience, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
