Thecompany is seeking a seasoned clinical development leader to drivemultiple programs within the cardiovascular therapeutic area. Thisrole will be responsible for shaping and executing clinicaldevelopment strategies, ensuring the design and successfulimplementation of trials, and contributing to regulatory andscientific communications. The position requires strategic vision,hands-on leadership, and the ability to collaborate acrossfunctions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the development ofclinical strategies and trial designs, ensuring alignment withcompany objectives. 2. Serve as a key representative in bothinternal and external engagements, advocating for program success.3. Act as a Medical Monitor for company-sponsored trials (ifholding relevant qualifications). 4. Collaborate with regulatoryagencies and internal regulatory teams to develop innovative andefficient clinical programs. 5. Guide the creation of essentialclinical study documents, including protocols, investigatorbrochures, and regulatory submissions. 6. Build and maintain strongrelationships with medical experts, investigators, and advisoryboards to optimize drug development strategies. 7. Overseecross-functional project teams, facilitating effective meetings,tracking progress, and ensuring timely decision-making. 8. Identifyand mitigate potential risks to clinical programs. 9. Manage anddevelop direct reports, fostering a culture of scientificexcellence and innovation. 10. Oversee project budgets incoordination with project management and finance teams. 11. Supportclinical trial execution by engaging with investigators, providingscientific presentations, and ensuring high-quality datacollection. 12. Mentor and educate internal teams on clinical andscientific aspects relevant to the programs. 13. Contribute toscientific publications and conference presentations. 14. Stayupdated on advancements in cardiovascular medicine and relatedfields, integrating emerging data into program strategies.Qualifications & Experience: 1. MD and/or PhD with significantleadership experience in clinical development within thebiopharmaceutical industry. 2. Strong expertise in cardiovasculardiseases, with a preference for candidates experienced in heartfailure drug development. 3. Proven track record in designing andexecuting clinical trials, particularly in early to mid-stagedevelopment, with phase 3 experience considered an advantage. 4.Demonstrated ability to drive strategic decision-making and leadteams in a collaborative environment. 5. Excellent interpersonaland communication skills, with an ability to build strong internaland external relationships. 6. A hands-on, solution-orientedapproach to clinical development, balancing strategic planning withoperational execution. 7. Proficiency in analyzing complexscientific and regulatory challenges and translating them intoactionable plans. 8.
