We have anoutstanding opportunity for a skilled Biotechnologist to contributeto our Inoculum project part-time. Your role will involve craftingand maintaining inoculum cell culture of mammalian cell lineswithin a cGMP clean room environment. This is crucial for theproduction of clinical products at Lonza Biologics Slough. Thisposition at Lonza offers a flexible work schedule of 19 hours perweek, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You canchoose to work a half day on either Friday or Monday and full dayson Saturday and Sunday. Keyresponsibilities: - Maintenance of cell cultures to GMP standardsusing aseptic techniques with flawless completion of batch recordsand log books. - Performing cell counting, environmentalmonitoring, and aseptic activities to ensure the highest qualitystandards. - Conducting routine laboratory maintenance, includingequipment checks, stores management, and cleaning to maintain apristine working environment. - Preparing stock solutions andmediums, followed by aseptic filtration to support ongoing researchand production activities. - Keeping up-to-date with cGMP andsafety trainings to ensure compliance and safety in all operations.Key requirements: - Proven experience in Cell Culture is highlydesirable, showcasing your ability to successfully implement andmanage cell cultures. - Experience in Manufacturing or Productionenvironments is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding ofindustry processes. - A working understanding of GMP regulations ishighly beneficial, ensuring you can adhere to strict industrystandards. - A BSc in Life Sciences or equivalent experience in thefield, or relevant Cell Culture experience, is required todemonstrate your technical knowledge and expertise. - We encourageindividuals with varying levels of hands-on industry experience,committed to finding the right fit for our team.
