SRG are looking for an Analytical Development Scientist for a role with our client who are a global manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. This is an exciting and challenging role and a chance to join a company who are displaying continued success in their field.



The Role:

  • Ensuring all analytical work (method transfer/development, formulation support, method validation, technical batch stability, etc) is performed and reported within agreed timelines
  • Performing routine analysis to support formulation development and assist in the transfer of methods to QC
  • Write and present scientific data in updates for clients and take part in technical discussions
  • Identify deviations and faults in analysis or instrument performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Assist with investigations into technical challenges at a laboratory level
  • Reviewing routine analytical data generated by colleagues within the Analytical Development group
  • Liaising with other departments internally as well as clients and customers
  • Take ownership of lab equipment responsibilities and interact with suppliers
  • Author reports, SOPs and other process documentation as required
  • Work within regulatory guidelines


Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant science related discipline
  • Strong technical skills in analytical methods including HPLC as an essential requirement
  • Experience within a similar laboratory environment, ideally a CDMO or CMO
  • Prior experience of working in a fast-paced environment where you are used to thinking on your feet
  • Understanding of working in a regulated environment
  • Must be able to demonstrate organisational skills and technical knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
