The role Is a permenant position,offering between £26,000 and £32,000 DOERole Expectations-Proactively contribute to the high safety standard of thegroupDesign, recommend and execute experimental programmes withsupport from supervisorDesign, recommend and develop testingmethodology using rig test expertiseParticipate in project /activity teams and present results and conclusions of the workLiaise with external service providers to ensure analytical, benchand engine testing are delivered to a high quality standard andagainst established timelinesPotential in the future for syntheticwork and analysis of target moleculesAny additionalresponsibilities as assignedKey Requirements -Strong sense ofurgency and able to drive work forward to meet targets andtimelinesCapable of overcoming obstacles through own initiative andwith minimal intervention from supervisorCapable of drawingtechnically sound conclusions from data, summarise, document andpresent results clearly on their workCompetent user of dataanalysis packages and word processing softwareStrong scientificbackground with lab experience is preferred with a minimum of aBsc/MSc degree qualification in chemistry is preferred but notessential.
