We are currently seeking an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring that all medications are accurately dispensed and meet the highest safety standards. You will work closely with our team of pharmacists and dispensary staff to uphold Pharmacierge's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medication to ensure compliance with legal, operational, and safety protocols.
    • Support the dispensing process, ensuring all medications are verified and accurately prepared for patient delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and orders, and report any discrepancies immediately.
    • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
    • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
    • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to address patient queries and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

To be considered for the ACT role at Pharmacierge, youMUSThave the following qualifications and experience:

  • Must hold a NVQ3 Pharmacy Techician Qualification (or equivalent as per GPhC requirements)
  • Registered Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting with a proven track record in accuracy checking.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a patient-centric approach to service delivery.

  • Salary: £27,000 - £34000 per annum (dependent on experience)
