In this role, you will:

  • Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medication to ensure compliance with legal, operational, and safety protocols.

  • Support the dispensing process, ensuring all medications are verified and accurately prepared for patient delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and orders, and report any discrepancies immediately.

  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a culture of safety and quality.

  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to address patient queries and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.

  • Be a registered Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

  • Have extensive experience in a pharmacy setting with a proven track record in accuracy checking.

  • Have strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard procedures.

  • Have excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have outstanding communication skills and a patient-centric approach to service delivery.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule based from our Winnersh Triangle office with flexibility where possible
