Job Title:Account Manager

Reports to:Account Director or Business Unit Director

Job type:Full-time; Hybrid

SALARY:£36,000 - £45,000 depending on experience


ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Working within a business unit, the role will be varied and fast-paced and you will be expected to take the lead on projects such as meetings and events, advisory boards, webinars, websites, e-learning, videos, articles, educational and promotional materials.

You will be directly responsible for the quoting, planning, implementation, and outcomes of your projects ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality on-time and on budget.

Within your close-knit team, you will help to develop junior members to build their knowledge and expertise contributing to the success of the team and on-going growth of the company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project management:Be the lead on projects, keeping them on schedule, on budget and to the brief. This entails closely managing junior staff, our production team, third-party suppliers and keeping ahead of evolving client requirement.
  • Client service:Develop strong working relationships with your clients, providing clear status updates, problem solving and identifying opportunities to expand the account.
  • Team working:Building and training client services staff as they progress in their careers as well as working collaboratively across teams.
  • Growth:Be proactive in identifying opportunities to expand accounts and improve efficiencies.
  • Financial and quality control:Maintain and uphold financial and quality control processes with a high level of scrutiny and attention to detail.


CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (degree in communications, marketing or similar will also be considered).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical communications or related roles in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Experienced in running multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Veeva PromoMats.
  • Understanding of the ABPI and EFPIA.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
