Account Director (Learning & Capabilities)

This is a great opportunity for an experiencedAccount Directorto flourish with a book of clients within the learning and capabilities space.

You will be part of our Client Engagement Team that leads large accounts at Inizio Engage XD level working on account. This includes:

  • Accountability for growth, both by increasing volume or diversifying services with existing buying points and building relationships with new buying points within your clients organisation
  • You will build a strategic understanding of your client's business and where XD's capabilities can support
  • Partner with subject matter experts in the service lines to shape opportunities and solutions to client problems
  • Stewardship of MSAs, ensuring adoption of Service level agreements, ways of working and processes
  • Onboarding new client contacts into the agency at an XD level

You will be responsible for a portfolio of business that may focus on specific areas of a large account, a group of smaller (<$1M) accounts or a combination of the two.

You will work on our Learning and Capabilities accounts within the pharmaceutical industry.

You will report into the Head of Client Engagement

What you'll do...

  • Be an ambassador for the agency within the client and wider Inizio organisations,
  • Ensure the wider agency team are set up for success on your account, either directly or by mentoring your direct reports to lead the way with great briefs and a clear point of view on the client need and perspective on value

Client & Internal Relationships

  • Establish the agency as a trusted client partner with both direct clients and procurement partners. This will include leading Business Review Meetings, and partnering with subject matter experts to bring value additive thinking to your clients
  • Foster collaborative, productive relationships across IEXD, including:
  • Build an understanding of our several specialisms and consulting the right subject matter experts at the right time
  • Ensure the nominated ambassadors for your account(s) and project teams are versed in your client context (business, brand, MSA, Service level agreements processes)
  • Promote a culture around your accounts that guides the delivery of projects,
  • Navigate any internal friction to a deliver a positive outcome for the client and learnings for the agency
  • Manage direct reports subject to team structure on your accounts

Commercial Accountability

  • Maintain an understanding of the component parts of your account's forecast and partnering with your CED and service line counterparts to plan for growth and any shortcomings.
  • Have a point of view on opportunities and whether or not the agency should pursue them, considering strategic significance and commercial viability
  • Maintain Hubspot pipelines and XD forecasts following agency process

Agency Growth

  • Partner with your internal Client Engagement Director to plan for growth with existing client partners / buying points and identifying opportunities for growth with new client partners / buying points (white space)
  • Build an understanding of the wider Inizio footprint on your accounts and how this can support IEXD Growth (and vice versa)
  • Identify marketing opportunities through case studies and client relationships to support growth across the agency
  • Lead pitches on your account and when relevant opportunities come into the agency, outside your account following the agency pitch process and standards

What you'll need to have...

  • You will have experience in the healthcare industry (agency is a bonus)
  • Experience partnering with clients to identify learning needs
  • Experience working with SMEs to develop and implement appropriate L&D solutions
  • Familiarity with both capability development and scientific training, but either/or could suffice
