About the Team: As a Solution ConsultantII you will report to the Solution Consulting Manager within a teambased in the UK, assisting the sales activities of the Mid Marketsales team as they sell to small to midsize life sciences companiesin the world. You will develop relationships with internalcolleagues and customers to contribute to planning, opportunitydiscovery conversations, solution presentations and demonstrationsand respond to customer requests. Your role is a fully remoteposition but you may be required to travel to a Medidata office tomeet the job requirements. Responsibilities: - You will conductdiscovery sessions to define customer's critical business issuesand use the knowledge to position the value of the Medidataplatform. - You will prepare and deliver value-based presentationsto all levels of the customer organization, this will also includestandard and customized product demonstrations. - You willunderstand customer technical infrastructure and business processesto help become a "trusted advisor". - You will be responsible forthe technical strategy internally with the sales team andexternally align with customer executives on joint execution plansto ensure successful workshops, proof of concepts, pilots, andother evaluations. - Your role will involve travel within Europeand potentially globally. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degreerequired in the Life Sciences, Engineering, Business or ComputerScience preferred, other relevant education or equivalent years ofexperience in the clinical trials sector. - Requires solidexperience in life sciences industry, clinical trials and/ormedical/clinical operations or equivalent experience. This role iseligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plandocuments.
