Service and Workshop Engineer

Nailsea, Bristol

Circa £40,000 DOE + Pension + Life Assurance + Training and Development + Stay Away (£25 Additional Pay per Night)

Monday to Friday, 8.30pm to 5pm

Service and Workshop Engineer required for an industry leading company who are seeing continued growth. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a company who can offer ongoing training and development whilst working in a range of industries from pharmaceutical, oil and gas, refineries, utilities etc.

This role would suit candidates with an electromechanical background, candidates with a strong mechanical or electrical bias will also be suitable.

The successful candidate will split their time equally between the company’s site in Nailsea and working at customer sites. 80% of site work is based within the UK, with occasional work in Europe.

You will work on a variety of water treatment & soil and groundwater remediation projects which will involve the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. When working on installation projects, you can expect to travel for up to a week at a time, however most service / repair activities are usually completed the same day.

The Service and Workshop Engineer Role:

· Installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems

· 50:50 Workshop and site based

· Electrical – working with 3phase equipment, inverters, PLCs etc.

· Mechanical – working with hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, actuators etc.

The Service and Workshop Engineer Candidate:

· Mechanical and/or electrical background

· Any engineering background
