We’re hiring for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established manufacturer in Heywood.
This role plays a key part in the production of specialist equipment used in highly regulated industries.

  • Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 3:30pm / Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

    What will you be doing as a Sheet Metal Worker?
  • Performing light-gauge stainless steel fabrication (1.0mm–4.0mm)
  • Working on bespoke containment products such as fume cupboards and enclosures
  • TIG welding to a high standard (test required as part of application)
  • Following technical drawings to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components
  • Collaborating with the team to meet production goals
  • Ensuring work meets industry standards and internal tolerances
    What do you need?
  • Time-served background in sheet metal work
  • Strong TIG welding skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or food industry fabrication (beneficial)
  • Polishing and MIG welding skills (desirable)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
