Since conception, Clinisciences has innovated and pioneered with strength in Biochemistry sample preparation and stands today with a broad range of Life Science solutions catering the full spectrum of life sciences research and diagnostic applications. Currently, there are just over thirty million products in Clinisciences’ catalogue. 

JOB TITLE:Sales and Scientific Advisor


TERRITORY:Manchester (+ Bradford, Huddersfield, Hull, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, York)

The candidate should be ideally located in Manchester, Leeds or within the M62 corridor


PRODUCTS:

Biochemicals, lab equipment, research antibodies, diagnostic antibodies, custom antibodies, primary cells, cell culture, personalised medicine tools, ELISA kits, custom synthetic peptides and recombinant proteins, FISH probes, PCR/qPCR reagents, protein expression, protein purification, FPLC chromatography, cell biology assay products


ROLE:

Attain business development objectives by building relationships with high value research and biotech laboratories, key diagnostic areas of interest and promoting awareness of Clinisciences’ products to the research, biotech and diagnostic markets.


ACCOUNTABILITY: 

- Responsible for managing and growing business in existing and new accounts.

- Satisfy scientific and technical expectations from customers.

- Perform a consultative approach to discuss scientific requirements with customers.

- Report your activity and performance to management.

- Acquire, maintain and keep up-to-date an in-depth knowledge of the territory, including information on customers, business potential, competitor activity and market trends.

- Continuously assess the territory and market to identify new business opportunities with existing customers and opportunities to add to the customer base.

- Constantly develop selling skills and scientific knowledge.

- Follow company strategy using approved marketing materials when dealing with customers.

- Negotiate and manage contracts.

- Participate in tender submission.

- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals.

- Host and assist with product shows, exhibitions and conferences.

- Additional Scientific and Sales trainings will be supplied according to your own skills


JOB PACKAGE:

- Gross annual salary : 30-50k (according to the person profile) + bonuses (typically up to ~40k) based on Sales target achievement

- 20 days holiday, + 1 additional day every year of service (up to 25 days total)

PERSON PROFILE:

PhD in Biological Sciences (preferred)

Driving Licence (strongly preferred)
