What You'll Do

*

Play a key role in the critical judgements and application of ASC 606 under US GAAP for Azenta’s key material transactions

*

Provide Leadership and guidance to the global SMS revenue team

*

Determines relative selling price/SSP allocations for complex multiple element arrangements

*

Review of contracts and new offerings identifying multiple performance obligations

*

Generate and post revenue related journal entries

*

Understand and apply appropriate percentage of completion accounting

*

Provides guidance on revenue recognition & accounting matters

*

Works directly with business partners to identify, gather information and resolve any revenue recognition issues

*

Analyze critical data and provide business partners key metrics and summary reporting as needed

*

Perform and review key SOX controls maintaining documentation and follow-up as needed

*

Key member of the monthly financial close team; works closely with accounting team to meet close deadlines by providing timely revenue accounting guidance

*

Compiles and reviews entity level data aggregated for SEC filing and other critical reporting

*

Provides audit support for moderate to complex areas requiring estimates & judgment

*

Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps and implementing effective solutions

What You'll Need

*

Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CPA or equivalate

*

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with 2+ years leadership experience required

*

Proven background in revenue recognition experience applying ASC 606 standards to transactions

*

Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

*

Listed Public company and top accountancy firm experience is a plus

*

Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company

*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*

Ability to research, apply, and document applicable accounting guidance

*

MS Excel skills at an advanced level

*

Experience with Oracle , Tableau, and other data analytic software is a plus

*

Experience with Revenue Recognition Software a plus
