Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - £50,000-£69,000 + Excellent Benefits

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer needed to join a world-class engineering company specialising in remote handling equipment and special purpose machinery. My client is looking to expand their current team due to continued success and the acquisition of new projects.

The Package:
Salary - £50,000-£69,000
37 hours a week - Monday-Thursday (8:30-17:00) and Friday (8:30-16:30)
Flexi-time & Working from home policy (maximum 2 days a week at home)

Death in service 4x annual salary

Prime Responsibilities and Duties

Production of engineering concepts and technical solutions.
To produce engineering designs and associated engineering documents (such as drawings, calculations, reports) and ensure they are completed within the required time-scales.
To progress small and medium sized engineering projects, as allocated or working as part of a team on larger projects. In both cases.
Project work, in addition to design, will include all aspects of the design process such as draughting and testing of products.
Required Skills

Good engineering calculations ability. (Hand calcs, MathCAD, Ansys, FEA experience)
Experience working in the Defence, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Nuclear, Sub-sea, Oil & Gas or a similar highly regulated industry.
Must have at least 3 years design engineering experience.
