Offering Circa. £45,000 Basic Salary plus benefits!
Our client is an established and well-respected manufacturer specialising in the pharmaceutical industry. They are currently recruiting a R&D Manager to support current and future pharmaceutical and packaging product development projects.
R&D Manager – Project Management

Set the project direction, plan goals, define milestones, and make sure the deliverables align with the company's objectives.
Plan and oversee project budgets, delivering projects within the planned timelines, managing key stakeholders' and third parties’ activities.
Lead R&D’s overall risk assessment and issue management.
Help prepare R&D documents and keep both physical and digital copies organized according to product guidelines.
R&D Manager – New Product Development
Source and evaluate the capabilities and qualifications of contract developers/ manufacturers to prepare/process components.
Lead and organise product development activities internal and external if required.
Lead and organise any non-clinical, scaling up, validation, stability, and tech transfer activities.
Define specification of final product.
Define and agree manufacturing process, assess the critical parameters, and provide technical input as required.
Input in and prepare any R&D related documentation.
Maintain the development documentation as per each product’s relevant guidelines.
R&D Manager - Candidate
Technical competent with strong project management skills.
R&D / Product Development experience gained in the pharmaceutical and/or packaging industry.
Experience in scale-up manufacturing (bench to industrial/commercial) development.
Experience in reviewing competitor products and old/new technologies to identify opportunities for competitive advantage through innovative product development.
The R&D Manager position is offering Circa. £45,000 basic salary plus benefits. This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our client’s site in the Leeds area.
