Bespak is looking for a Warehouse Operator for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE on an initial 6 to 8 -month temporary contract. The salary range for this role, including shift allowance is £32k to £37k (the range shows what it would be for a 12-month period), you will also have access to all internal job opportunities.

Working Pattern: alternating days / evenings – Week 1 - Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm | Week 2 – 2pm to 10pm / alternating.

As a Warehouse Operator, you'll ensure accurate and timely completion of all warehouse activities, supporting production and customer needs. You will handle goods receipt, general warehouse tasks, and dispatch, adhering to operating practices and safety procedures. You'll operate material handling equipment, conduct inventory counts, and maintain accurate records. You'll also perform ancillary tasks like site transport, equipment checks, and contribute to a safe and organized work environment. You will be expected to follow ethical guidelines and report any safety or procedural issues.

As a Warehouse Operator, your duties will include:

  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.

  • Picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing orders.

  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety procedures.

  • Performing routine checks on equipment and facilities.

  • Delivering parcels across site using a company vehicle.

    Warehouse Operator, beneficial key skills and experience:

  • Good working level of Maths and English.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Health and Safety conscious attitude to work.

  • Proactive and adaptable with a 'can-do' attitude.

  • Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
