Job Title: VNA or Counterbalance Forklift Operative
Location: Millshaw Industrial Park, Leeds LS11 area
Employment Type: Full-Time-Temporary, Temp-to-Permanent 
Hourly Rate: Between £12.21 - £13.00 DOE  + OT, weekend work & shift premiums.
Shift Patterns: IMMEDIATE STARTS ON 2PM-10PM

    08:00am-4:00pm (On-Going assignment)
    10:00am-6:00pm (On-Going assignment)

    Our client is a leading provider of pharmaceutical wholesaling, logistics, and support services across the UK. Our clients Leeds distribution centre plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of healthcare products to pharmacies and healthcare providers nationwide. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities 

    Safe Operation: Operate Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) or Counterbalance (CB) forklifts to move and store pharmaceutical products within the warehouse.
    Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, adhering to company protocols and quality standards.
    Inventory Management: Assist in stock rotation and inventory checks to maintain optimal stock levels and product integrity.
    Loading/Unloading: Efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care.
    Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on VNA or CB equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
    Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
    Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational Requirements 
    Licensing: Valid VNA or CB forklift license accredited by RTITB or ITSSAR is preferred.
    Experience: Previous experience operating VNA or CB forklifts in a warehouse environment is preferred.
    Physical Fitness: Ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
    Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
    Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
    Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Desirable Qualifications 
    Additional licences such as; Counterbalance, Reach, Bendi-Flexi, Scissor Lift, PPT & LLOP are advantageous.
    Familiarity with warehouse management systems and handheld scanning devices.
