Are you a passionate veterinary surgeon looking to make a real difference in the lives of animals, their owners, and the local communities in which you work?

We are excited to announce an opening for an experienced mixed practice veterinary surgeon, preferably with a small animal bias, at our friendly, relaxed village veterinary practice.

Here, you will join a dedicated team of vets, nurses, and support staff that cherishes the opportunity to provide high-quality care to a wide range of animals from small furies to cattle and sheep on large commercial farms.

Within a mixed practice role, we are looking for someone with the expertise in diagnosing, treating, and performing surgery on our beloved small animal patients, as well as providing preventative health and emergency care to our equine and farm animal patients. For the right person, there is also the opportunity to progress into a clinical practice management role. It is important to us to find someone who is passionate about building long-term relationships with colleagues and clients.

Who are we?

Hafren Veterinary Group is an independently owned mixed practice that has been serving the local community of mid Wales for over 120 years. We pride ourselves on providing a fantastic service to the local communities we serve, and we hold practice standard awards in all three species.

We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming environment where our team members feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow. Our team is comprised of 24 vets all with a great variety of different skills and knowledge. Our vets are also supported by 40 RVNs, SVNs, ATTs, lab techs, and support staff.

We have all the latest equipment you will need to do your job including digital x-ray, ultrasound scanners, scopes, haematology and biochemistry analysers, and dental equipment.

If you're ready to step into a rewarding position where you can utilise your veterinary skills, collaborate with a passionate team, and positively impact the local communities in which you will work, then we would love to hear from you!
