We are looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at first opinion small animal practice near to the Leicester area of Leicestershire

  • full time opportunity working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 6.30pm and 1 in 5 Saturday mornings on a rota with no Sundays, no OOH
  • brand-new state of the art practice with the latest technology and equipment including; digital Xray, dental Xray, ultrasound (abdominal and cardiac imaging), ECG, in house lab with biochemistry, haematology, Vet Scan, Imagyst, VCheck, glucometers, endoscopy, diathermy and two brand-new purpose-built theatres.
  • role would suit an experienced vet with good routine surgical and medical skills
  • practice will support you to develop your career and pursue your interests right up to certificate level.
  • join a friendly and supportive team including certificate holders and specialist surgeons/ultra sonographers
  • encouragement and support to undertake certificates in addition to CPD allowance
  • well located in semi rural location surrounded by tranquil countryside yet within easy commute of City of Leicester.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • an experienced vet with good routine surgical and medical skills
