Position Overview:
As the Value and Partnerships Senior Manager you will be responsible for leading strategic market access initiatives that help sustain market leadership for Insulet’s products and deliver both improved outcomes for people with diabetes and continued growth.
This will be achieved through directing how the value proposition for Omnipod is strengthened, differentiated and leveraged and through sourcing and securing strategic partnerships at national or regional level that drive mutual value.
Reporting to the Head of Market Access for UK/Benelux, you will collaborate with both commercial and clinical leadership within Insulet to create momentum for change in health systems that promotes the advance of technology.
You will be responsible for plans that align with both the long and short term goals of the organisation and maintain both a short and longer-term perspective yourself. You will be comfortable with engaging customers at a senior level and functioning as a trusted partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Value Leadership:
Develops and enhances the value proposition for Omnipod products, and ensures it is communicated, so as to resonate with payers

Opportunity Outreach:
Sustains a high-level understanding of policies, priorities and needs across health systems in the UK and Benelux region.
Actively develops and maintains high level contacts and relationships with payers and payer influencers and ensures opportunities are evaluated, prioritised and acted upon
Strategic Partnerships
Creates and prioritises partnerships with health system partners that are aligned to business objectives
Creates business cases and clear deliverables that build support for and investment in market access
Innovation and Change Agency
Monitors future trends in both the diabetes and broader healthcare landscapes and remains alert to opportunities for Insulet to act as a change agent in ways that advance access opportunities
Training and Development
Provides training and support to internal teams on market access strategies and the value proposition of our products
Acts as a “partnership mentor” within and beyond the market access team to help support the construction, delivery and effectiveness of partnership initiatives

Required Skills and Competencies
• Deep understanding of health policies and health systems, ideally across all UK/Benelux countries, but with proven knowledge in at least UK or Benelux
• Proven ability to access payer decision makers, influencers and stakeholders at a high level and to leverage relationships to achieve change
• Experience in setting up and implementing access partnership initiatives with demonstrable results
• Familiarity and experience with using health economics based arguments and with developing value propositions
• Previous experience working in diabetes and/or medical technology is desirable, but not essential in candidates who can demonstrate strong overall capabilities in line with areas of focus set out above

Education and Experience
• At least bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (eg biochemistry, pharmacology, health economics)
• Relevant experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales, marketing or market access.
• Proven business experience in contributing to market access strategies across the payer and payer influencer stakeholder group
• Proven experience in partnering with NHS or other health organisations to deliver access change

Additional Information
This is a field-based role working across the entirety of the UK and Benelux areas. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel across this region as well as occasional travel to Insulet’s UK/Benelux head office in West London.
