My client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer is looking for a QA Validation Officer to join their Quality Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with validation experience who enjoys working across departments and being hands-on in maintaining high compliance and quality standards.
About the Role: As QA Validation Officer, you’ll support validation and quality assurance activities across the site. You'll play a key role in ensuring processes, equipment and systems meet both regulatory standards and internal quality expectations. This role works closely with other departments, so strong communication skills and a proactive approach are key.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintaining and updating the site’s validation master plan in line with current best practice
Reviewing and developing validation procedures to ensure they support business needs
Writing and reviewing validation protocols and reports
Conducting equipment qualification and process validation activities
Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of validation projects
Supporting training of production staff in validated processes
Promoting best practice in documentation and use of SOPs
Assisting in audits, both internal and external, including customer and notified body visits
Gathering data and supporting the preparation of quality metrics
Helping to drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and change control activities
Contributing to the deployment of new documentation and QMS processes
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a validation role within a regulated manufacturing environment
A proactive and self-motivated approach, able to manage tasks independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Excellent organisational and planning ability
Attention to detail and a structured way of working
Confident with technical writing and documentation
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Comfortable supporting audits and contributing to internal investigations
Someone who can balance quality, safety and cost considerations in their decision making
