Job Title: Validation Engineer (Clean Air)
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits

Due to winning new client business, our client is seeking a knowledgeable Validation Engineer to cover pharmaceutical and healthcare client sites. The role will involve travel across the North West, Yorkshire and Midlands regions, as such, the company is able to accept applications from candidates within those locations. Our client is a fantastic provider of further training, so they are also able to consider candidates who are primarily undertaking commissioning currently and would be interested in this position. They are also offering attractive packages and salaries for the successful candidate.

Our client is able to consider candidates who are based in / around: Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton, Burnley, Stockport, Manchester, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Warrington, Wigan, St Helens, Chorley, Widnes, Runcorn, Leigh, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Brighouse, Mirfield, Leeds, Bradford, Pudsey, Keighley, Wakefield, Normanton, Castleford, Barnsley.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have proven experience working as a Validation Engineer within a Clean / Critical Air specialist
  • Ideally will hold CSA Grades and / or Eastwood Park training
  • It would be beneficial to hold the BOHS P601
  • Fully conversant in industry safety and compliance guidelines
  • Hardworking attitude
  • Flexible to travel as needed
  • IT literate and good written ability

    The Role:
  • Completing the servicing, testing and validation of critical / clean air ventilation and HVAC systems across a range of client sites
  • DOP and HEPA filter testing
  • Inspections and testing of fume cupboards
  • Remedial works and replacements of fans and filters
  • Undertaking particle counting
  • Air flow and pressure measuring
  • Inspecting systems to assess performance levels and make suggestions for improvements
  • Writing detailed service reports
  • Handing over systems to clients, ensuring to thoroughly answer technical issues
  • Working in accordance with HTM and ISO guidelines
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships
