Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Trainee Lab Technician for one of our clients in Dukinfield. We are wanting someone who is wanting to have a career and progress within the company.Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 17:00 Friday - 8:30am - 14:00 (If you work a weekend this will be added onto your wage)Holidays - 29+ Bank holidaysDuties:You will be working with the technologists in the technical team to help develop new compounds and reworking of current compounds. * Collecting of raw materials from warehouse and/or shopfloor * Accurate weighing up of raw material ingredients to precise recipe. * Mixing of materials to produce a lab batch of products * Preparing test samples * Carrying out tests to specifications * Creating report of results and communicating them to the technical department. * Testing of production compound properties * Reporting results in the system and passing off batches if in specification * Reporting any out of specification/rejects * Working closely with laboratory supervisor, production and technical on any issues during production runIf you are interested please apply or give Macy a call on (phone number removed)
