Our client, a global pharmaceutical company with a portfolio of major brands, pharma and OTC, is seeking a talented Trade Marketing & POS Manager to join its dynamic UK team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the business and wider consumer healthcare industry.

What’s this role about

In this high-visibility position, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive the success of a number of key brands. You will work closely with brand, sales, and medical affairs teams, to ensure the effective implementation of marketing campaigns and product launches at retail store level, bringing creative ideas to raise brand visibility and consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Developing and implementing trade & shopper marketing strategies aligned with the company's marketing objectives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute successful product launches and marketing campaigns
Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies
Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, trade partners, and industry associations
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance, adapting marketing strategies accordingly

Skills & Experience Checklist
Proven experience in trade & shopper marketing, preferably within the pharma or healthcare industry
Strong understanding of the UK OTC healthcare market and regulatory environment
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in data analysis and market research, with the ability to derive actionable insights
Creativity and innovation in developing impactful marketing strategies and campaigns
Conversant with PAGB regulations for promotional and display activity
Experience working with major retailer activation teams such as Boots and Superdrug
