JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are looking for temporal researcher who could be engaged in the NIH-funded project. The goal of the project is to investigate a multiparametric photoacoustic sensing leveraging two parameters of cancer-targeted contrast agent and oxygen saturation simultaneously for identifying prostate tissue abnormality and turns this concept into a clinically translatable non-invasive detection tool. The outcome of this project will be also integrated into navigation systems of surgical robot such as percutaneous needle insertion robot. The accepted researcher will investigate the molecular and chemical detection of cancer through functional photoacoustic imaging and evaluate the developed systems through in vivo validation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This specific position requires substantial experience in in vivo experimentation, and ultrasound and/or photoacoustic imaging. You should be capable of working in a team-oriented environment and able to independently solve problems.
The compensation is based on the WPI standard with accordance of previous experience.
