RSK ADAS is looking to recruit an Assistant Field Research Scientist (Arable Trials) to be based at our ADAS site in Rosemaund, Hereford on a temporary basis, with the potential to make the role permanent. 

ADAS provide expert solutions and policy advice on agricultural and environmental issues. Our Soils, Crops and Water Business carry out a wide range of technical field, glasshouse and laboratory studies in a wide range of agricultural crops, specialising in Crop Pathology, Physiology, Soils and Nutrition, Entomology and Weeds.

Responsibilities:

This role will suit anyone looking to build on their knowledge and experience in a practical crop research environment, helping to run field and plot experiments.

Person Specification:

• Interest in agriculture/arable research
• Hands-on approach
• Ability to learn on the job
• Flexibility for overtime
• Full UK manual driving license

Salary and benefits:

• £24,000 – £26,000, depending on experience
• Paid Overtime
