Our client is currently seeking a Technologist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Technologist , you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within a GMP custom manufacturing environment.



KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Your duties as the Technologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:


1. As the Technologist, you will disposition raw materials for their intended use and assist in maintaining quality records such as deviations, CAPAs, investigations, change controls, protocols, reports, and SOPs.


2. As the Technologist, you will conduct testing of samples and report all results according to relevant procedures, critically assessing results and reporting any concerns to QC management promptly.


3. As the Technologist, you will approve results generated by other team members and ensure all safety requirements relevant to tasks are met.


4. As the Technologist, you will train and assist more junior members of staff, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained throughout the department.



ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Technologistwe are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:


1. Relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field.


2. Proven industry experience in a GMP environment within the pharmaceutical industry.


3. A working knowledge and practical experience with chemical/biochemical techniques and

methods, as well as reporting of data and maintaining quality records.
