The Role of the Technical Sales Specialist

Field based role, working from home and visiting hospitals across UK and Ireland

Drive sales by identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals across the territory.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

Deliver on-site and remote training to laboratory personnel and clinicians.

Support customers during product installation, validation, and routine use.

Build strong relationships with laboratory managers, microbiologists, and infectious disease specialists.

Provide feedback from the field on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.

Attend and exhibit at trade shows, conferences and events within the territory.

Benefits of the Technical Sales Specialist

Basic salary: £35,000-£42,000 + 20% OTE

Laptop + Mobile Phone Holiday

25 Days + Bank Holidays

UK Mileage: 10k?miles @?£0.45 + additional @?£0.25 per mile

Company Pension Scheme (5% employee, 3% employer)

The Ideal Person for the Technical Sales Specialist

BSc or MSc in Biomedical Science, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

Full UK Driver’s License.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to travel extensively within the UK (up to 60%) and Ireland (10%)

Preferred:

Experience with fungal diagnostic products or fungal biomarker assays is highly desirable.

Familiarity with antigen and/or molecular testing is preferred.

2 Years’ experience in a clinical laboratory or diagnostic applications role is strongly preferred.
