Our client is a globally recognised provider of complete analytical laboratory solutions, specialising in chromatography, mass spectrometry, and laboratory automation. Backed by decades of expertise and innovation, they offer a comprehensive portfolio of instrumentation, software, technical services, and consumables across the life sciences, pharmaceutical, environmental, and energy sectors. Following a recent acquisition, they are expanding their commercial team in the UK and are looking for three driven and technically-minded sales professionals to join their growing operations.
You will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships within your designated territory, promoting a range of analytical systems and solutions including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, and LC-MS, along with software and automation components. This is a consultative sales role where scientific insight is essential to understand clients’ workflows and recommend tailored solutions.
There are three positions available covering either South UK, North UK or Midlands.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to project closure
Engage in technical discussions to understand client requirements and propose best-fit solutions
Deliver product demonstrations in collaboration with application specialists
Identify and convert new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences
Provide market feedback to internal teams to support product and service development
Who You Are:
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, or related discipline
Strong technical knowledge of HPLC, GC, and/or mass spectrometry
Previous sales or customer-facing experience in a scientific environment is advantageous
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within your region
