Technical Sales Manager – Competitive Salary – Falmouth, Cornwall


The Role

IVF Bioscience is seeking aTechnical Sales Managerto support the growth of our company specializing inanimal in vitro production (IVP)media. This exciting role is based at our coastal Falmouth office, and you’ll be reporting directly to the Managing Director.


In this position, you'll leverage your technical expertise to expand our international reach, support customers, and provide detailed training and product knowledge.


This role combines science, technical sales, and international travel – perfect for those with a strong background in biological sciences, including embryology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build long-term relationships with prospective and existing customers and distributors.
  • Provide technical advice and training on our products, remotely and in-person, utilizing your scientific background.
  • Support sales and marketing activities, including international trade events, customer visits, and digital marketing efforts such as social media campaigns, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Deliver technical presentations and training to diverse audiences, including scientists, veterinarians, and technicians.
  • Assist with marketing materials, technical documentation, and proposal preparation.
  • Contribute to business operations in a small team environment, including order processing, logistics, and customer support.

As a small but innovative team, we pride ourselves on scientific integrity, customer service, and advancing reproductive technologies.


The Person

Essential

  • Degree-level qualification in a scientific subject (e.g., biology, biochemistry, reproductive biology, embryology, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Confident, personable, and capable of developing and maintaining long-term business relationships.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer visits and trade shows.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and flexible in supporting various business functions.

Desirable

  • Master's Degree in Reproductive Biology, Embryology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales or technical training within scientific, agricultural, or biotechnology sectors.
  • Familiarity with international sales and trade show activities.
  • Experience in creating digital campaigns, including social media and content creation.
  • Confidence in delivering technical presentations and training.
  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
