Bespak is looking for an onsite, permanent, Technical Projects Operator on the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £40k. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.

Working Pattern – Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

As a Technical Projects Operator, you will provide technical input across various projects, from equipment and process design to technical transfer, qualification, and validation. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring all operational aspects are considered to deliver these projects successfully, on time and within budget. You will support associated batch manufacturing activities and utilise your advanced technical understanding for new product introductions. Taking a lead role in the operational handover of new products to commercial lines, you will provide training and act as the primary technical point of contact for project-related queries. Your work ensures smooth transfers while upholding required cGMP and HSE standards.

Bespak in Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People Silver Award-winning pharmaceutical CDMO with over 350 employees, currently going through a period of significant site expansion. We are investing heavily to increase our capacity for developing and manufacturing sustainable pMDIs (asthma inhalers) with greener propellants, meeting the evolving standards of the industry, while providing comprehensive development, manufacturing, filling, and finishing solutions for a range of medical devices, including SMIs, DPIs, nasal sprays, and medical check valves.

As a Technical Projects operator, your duties will include:

  • Provide technical input on project design and transfer.

  • Ensure operational aspects aid timely project delivery.

  • Lead technical handover and training for new products.

  • Involve in process safety and cross-functional teams.

  • Act as primary technical contact for project queries.

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and HSE standards.

  • Skilled in coordinating and facilitating operational activities.

    Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line, proximity to the motorway network and Manchester Airport.
