Description

Location: UK based (Remote or Hybrid)

Hours: 10am to 7pm LDN time

Type: Freelance

Start Date: July 2025

The Role

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our global team and support the delivery of a first-of-its-kind immersive media platform. The initial focus of this role will be to set up and manage JIRA across multiple product teams, helping us build a consistent and efficient approach to delivery tracking.

You’ll work closely with Delivery Managers, Technical Leads, designers and developers to ensure teams are aligned, processes are clear, and blockers are removed quickly. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and is comfortable in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

Requirements

What You’ll Do

Set up and configure JIRA boards, workflows, and issue types to suit different product team needs.
Maintain and evolve JIRA to ensure it supports visibility, clarity, and efficiency across delivery teams and client.
Support teams with day-to-day use of JIRA, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reporting.
Help standardise processes and documentation to support scalable delivery across multiple teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design, operations) to keep priorities aligned.
Monitor project progress and flag risks, blockers, or dependencies as needed.
Assist in onboarding new team members to tools and delivery processes.

What You Will Bring

Experience working with JIRA (essential), including board setup and configuration.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a clear approach to documentation and planning.
Strong communication skills; able to liaise confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working independently.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methods (e.g. sprints, stand-ups, retros).
Able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
A background in digital product development or creative tech is a bonus.
Knowledge of the Business Analyst (BA) role would also be beneficial

Benefits

This is a Nexus-led role, embedded in a highly collaborative, partner-facing development environment. You’ll help define not just what we build, but how we build it - helping to define the delivery approach and evolution of a platform with global reach.

If you’re excited about building what’s next in sports, immersive media, and fan engagement, we’d love to talk.
