Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a business experienced across decommissioning, waste management, and more recently engineering design, R&D, and refurbishment within the nuclear and defence sectors. They are looking to recruit a Technical Author on a 12+ month contract for its Aldermaston site.

The Technical Author role comes with an hourly rate of £40-£45 an hour.

Key skills

Educated to HNC/HND in an Engineering related subject.
Experience working on infrastructure projects within a highly regulated industry (Nuclear, Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Rail, Oil & Gas, Defence)
Must have SC clearance and be able to obtain DV clearance.

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Technical Author role

£40 - £45 an hour based on experience
12 month+ contract
3 days a week on site (Aldermaston)
Outside IR35
