Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven professional to lead our Pneumatics operations, with a focus on quality, planning, and productivity.
This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring operational excellence through effective team leadership, strategic scheduling, and adherence to high standards in health and safety, human resources, and performance. The successful candidate will manage a team of assemblers, coordinate valve production in line with customer demand and backlog, and collaborate closely with internal planning and purchasing teams to ensure timely parts delivery.
Key responsibilities include organizing internal processes, maintaining accurate build and test instructions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. A strong emphasis is placed on data-driven decision-making, with daily SQDCP reporting and active participation in tier meetings. The role also involves maintaining 5S housekeeping standards, implementing efficiency improvements, and resolving issues related to infrastructure, design, and processes. In addition, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring a safe work environment, managing safety protocols, and addressing health and safety needs in collaboration with supervisors and the Health & Safety Manager. Adaptability is essential, as responsibilities may evolve with business needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Technical knowledge:
Essential
Basic understanding of lean management techniques
Experience coaching, mentoring or leading a team.
Practical experience of following and applying health and safetystandards.
